Montenegro
“The most beautiful contact between the earth and the sea took place at the Montenegrin littoral.”
-Lord Byron
Deep blue waters and high slanted mountains.
Montenegro is one of the prettiest countries I’ve ever been to. I’ve visited a few times now, and with each new stay, I start believing Lord Byron’s quote more and more.
From the stunning views and rich Venetian history of Kotor to the deep valley and sprawling lakes of Durmitor National Park, Montenegro has so much to offer.
You can wander the streets of UNESCO protected old towns. Zipline across deep gorges with vibrant turquoise waters. Explore coastal caves by boat or relax on long sandy beaches.
It’s a country ready for a travel boom, and rightfully so.
